Free guided tours in the Minster
Taking a free guided tour is an excellent way for visitors to hear the story of the Minster. Our qualified voluntary guides will take you through the building and tell you about its amazing history and life.
Free guided tours for visitors to the Minster run throughout week from Monday to Saturday from 9.00am - 3.00pm.
All tours are given free of charge and usually last between 1 hour and 1 hour 30 mins.
Free guided tours can be arranged for visiting groups, and in a number of different languages. Please contact us at visitors@yorkminster.org at least 28 days in advance of your visit to arrange a free guided tour.
