Support for Visitors with sensory impairments
We are committed to making access to the Minster as easy as possible for people with sensory impairments.
Assistance dogs are welcomed at the Minster.
Induction loops are located throughout all the main ground floor areas.
Leaflets and service sheets are available in large print formats
Guided tours can be arranged for visually impaired visitors by prior arrangement through the Visitors Department (01904 557216).
A Touch and Hearing Centre includes a tactile model of the Minster with audio tape commentary and a Braille guidebook. The Centre is located in the Nave aisle next to the Shop – please ask at the Information Desk in the South Transept for details.
