York Minster Walking Group

Hello, welcome to the York Minster Walking Group's web page.

The group started walking together in 1998 and has walked on the first Saturday of the month ever since, meeting at ten thirty. We have visited many parts of the Yorkshire Dales, Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Wolds. Walks are usually between eight and fifteen kilometres in length and everyone is most welcome to join us.

Details of the next walk will be published in the weekly congregation pew sheet.

Minster Community 2008 Christmas Walk

The next walk will be our Christmas Walk on Saturday 6th December (followed by a pre booked only Christmas Lunch at the Fauconberg Arms, Coxwold). Meet 10.30 a.m. at Fauconberg Arms (GR 533772) to Husthwaite and return, 4 miles.

Next Long Walk

The next long walk will be on third Saturday in January, meeting at 10.00 a.m., more details to follow soon.
