Lecture by Geoffrey Coffin on 'Restoration of the York Minster Organ' (the funds raised, £1000, donated to the Minster Campaign Music Fund).

Matinee performance, followed by a Cream Tea—York Theatre Royal presents Death of a Salesman, written by Arthur Miller and directed by Adrian Cruden. Cost £15.
The Christmas Story in Glass, an illustrated lecture by Mr Peter Gibson OBE, at the Merchant Taylors' Hall, Aldwark, followed by tea. Cost £8, members only.
Tuesday 2 December, 8.45 a.m.
Chatsworth at Christmas. Depart from Memorial Gardens at 8.45 a.m. A visit to the House, traditionally decorated for Christmas, followed by lunch. Cost £40 includes entry to Chatsworth, lunch and coach travel. Time to visit the shop or, weather permitting, a walk in the garden, before departing for York about 4 p.m. Leader: Barbara Westray.
